These cover the website. Terms of sale are a separate document and belong to the store.

Terms of sale, refund terms and warranty terms are to be published. They will be issued with the Shopify store and reviewed properly before they appear. Nothing on this website should be read as a term of sale, and nothing here creates one.

Using this website

You are welcome to read it, link to it, quote it with attribution, and use its documentation to build things - including things we did not think of. Please do not misrepresent it as your own, and please do not attempt to disrupt the site or the people using it.

Accuracy

This site aims to be accurate and says “not yet supplied” wherever it is not. Even so, documentation can be wrong, and specifications change between board revisions. Anything published here is provided without warranty of any kind, and you remain responsible for verifying that a design is safe and fit for your purpose before you rely on it.

Working with electronics

Building and modifying electronics carries real risks - electrical, thermal, chemical and mechanical. Guides on this site include safety notes where they apply, but they cannot anticipate your bench, your parts or your mains supply. Work within your competence, and stop if you are unsure.

Brand, artwork and content

The Koala Embedded name, the koala mascot artwork, the illustrations, the display typefaces and the written content on this site are owned by Koala Embedded. Please do not reuse the mascot or the wordmark to represent your own products, project or organisation.

Once firmware source is published, each repository will carry its own licence, and that licence governs the code rather than this page.

Links to other services

This site links to Shopify for purchasing and will link to GitHub for source and issues. Those services set their own terms; following a link means those terms apply to what happens there.

Changes

These terms will change as the business grows - particularly when the store launches. Material changes will be noted on the updates page.
